Description
Tower House Farmhouse is a farmhouse with origins dating back to the 17th century, featuring later alterations and additions. It is constructed of rubble and rendered, topped with a double Roman tiled roof that has brick ridge and gable stacks. The main range has a parallel block at the rear and stands two storeys high with four windows. On the first floor, the left side has two 3-light casements, while the right side features two sashes in exposed boxes, positioned to the right of a ridge stack. There is a stair tower with a pitched roof on the right. The ground floor on the left includes a 3-light casement and a door. The left return has a blank gable end, while the gable end of the rear block has a 20th-century glazed porch with a half-glazed door and a 16-pane sash window above. Inside the porch, there is a door that may lead to a rear through passage. The right return has an attached block that is one and a half storeys tall, featuring two casements. At the rear, there is a 9-pane light on the first floor right, and the right gable end has raised coped verges. The interior is not accessible.
