Description
Emmanuel Church was built in 1847 by Manners and Gill. It features a Perpendicular style with Carboniferous limestone dressings and slate roofs. The church has a four-stage "Somerset" tower with angle buttresses, a three-bay nave, and a north aisle. Inside, there is an open timber roof, an elaborate marble pulpit, and a screen behind the altar. The interior has been modernized.
