Description
Woodlands is a detached house with a probable 17th century core and an early 19th century addition on the south side. The building features colourwashed roughcast with stone copings, a slate roof on the 19th century wing, and pantiles and slates on the 17th century range. It has a T-shaped plan, with the south front rising to two storeys and featuring three windows. All windows are 20th century twelve-pane sashes set in segmental heads. There is a full-length lean-to verandah, which is glazed on the left side and supported by cast iron barley sugar columns with wreathed spandrels. The roof is double span with rendered stacks at the ends. The 17th century wing has similar early 19th century window styles, and there is a plank door in the west facade along with a two-leaf glazed kitchen door.
