Description

Parkside is a pair of houses dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of granite rubble with rendered fronts, featuring gabled scantled slate roofs and granite stacks with drip courses at the right end. Each house has a two-room plan with a central staircase and stands two storeys high. The symmetrical front of each house includes a three-window range. Parkside has a late 19th-century central half-glazed door and horned 3/3-pane sash windows, while No. 6 has a mid-20th-century door and windows. There are 19th-century outshuts and mid-20th-century extensions at the rear. The interiors have not been inspected but are noted to contain 19th-century joists.
