Description

No. 589 on Hammond Street is a mid-19th century cottage constructed from coursed rubble with a hipped thatched roof and end brick stacks. It stands two storeys tall and features a three-window range. The windows are primarily 20th-century casements, mostly with horizontal glazing bars, consisting of two lights, except for the ground floor right window, which has three lights. The cottage also has a glazed door.
