Description

Wessex Cottage is a building that consists of two cottages now combined into a single dwelling. It dates from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The structure features rubble walls topped with a thatched roof and has end brick stacks. It is 1½ storeys high and has a three-window range, with 2 and 3-light casements. The entrance is located under a thatched porch near the center of the building. Inside, there are large open fireplaces with chamfered and camber bressummers located on the north and south walls.
