Description
Shadrack Dairy Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse with a core dating back to the 16th century, although it has undergone significant alterations in the 20th century. The building features rubble-stone walls and a plain tile mansard roof, also from the 20th century. There are brick stacks at each gable end, topped with large concrete cornices added in the 20th century. The farmhouse is one storey high with attics and has three windows; the ground floor windows are sashes with glazing bars, while the large dormers feature three-light metal casements from the 20th century. A plank door, located left of centre, has two glass lights and is framed in wood.
Inside, the ground floor has compartmented moulded ceiling beams that date back to the 16th century.
