Description
The Old Stables, located 4 meters north-east of the Weld Arms, is a former stable building now used as a garage and storage. It likely dates from the 18th century. The structure features rubble stone walls that are colourwashed. The front section of the roof is thatched, while the rear section is tiled. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high. The front wall includes a buttress and large timber doors, with a loft door situated above. The windows in the side wall still show remnants of lead lights. This building is included for its group value.
