Description
The range of farm buildings at Tamarisk Farm, which includes stables, a saddlery, and a forge, dates from the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed from rubble stone with dressed stone quoins and feature corrugated iron roofs topped with three stone gable copings.
On the east elevation, the stables have a loft door above a central stable door, which is flanked by windows. The saddlery also has a stable door with voussoirs above it, accompanied by two low rectangular openings to the right. The forge is characterized by a wide, low window opening with a segmental arch above, a central stable door with voussoirs, and a square window opening on the right side.
Inside, the roof structure includes half-jointed collars and double-pegged construction.
