Description

The granary at Tamarisk Farm is a detached structure dating from the 17th century, with a heightening added in the 19th century. It features rubble-stone walls accented by dressed stone quoins and is built on a raised undercroft. The slate roof has gable ends and the building consists of two storeys plus attics. On the north side, there are double hatches that do not have doors, and six pigeon-holes with perches are located at the second-floor level. Additionally, there are 20th-century rectangular windows positioned under the eaves.
