Detached Cottage. Dated: B with a crown over, 1857 (for Duke of Bedford estate). Rubble-stone-walls. Slate roof, gabled to front left of centre, and hipped at right hand. Low-pitched roofs. 2 storeys. 3 windows, left hand bay has 3-light cast-iron casements, with cast-iron glazing-bars in a lozenge pattern. Remaining windows are 2-light casements of the same design and material. Original glass. Stone voussoirs and stone cills, throughout. Front door, right of centre, flush- panelled door with a square head, mid C19. Stone porch with an elliptical head, and low, gabled roof over. Cast-iron casements to side and rear walls. Rear range has attached stabling, and is included.
