Description

This is a 19th-century milestone made of cast iron, featuring a triangular shape. It is inscribed with the distances to Cranborne (1 mile) and Wimborne (9 miles). The milestone was erected by the Poole Trust as part of the Dorset Milestones Survey in 1980.
