Description
The Old Rectory is a rectory that has been converted into a private house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with tiled roofs and features end brick stacks. The building is designed in a loosely Jacobean style. The east front is symmetrical, consisting of two storeys and three bays, with a gabled central bay. It has 2-light casements with glazing bars set beneath flat brick arches. The ground floor includes mullioned and transomed windows with glazing bars, also under flat brick arches, and these windows have returned stone labels. The central entrance features a part-glazed door with a transom light above, which is also under a returned label. Additionally, there is a large polygonal bay on the garden front.
