Description

No. 12 is a cottage located on the north side of The Square in Cranborne, dating from the late 18th century. It features Flemish-bond brickwork with blue-brick chainage that defines the central bay and the quoins. The roof is covered with slate and has end brick stacks. The ground floor has nine-panel sash windows, while the upper floor is fitted with two-light casements that include glazing bars. The window openings are set under flat gauged brick arches, with stone keystones on the ground floor windows. The entrance has a part-glazed door.
