Description

The Web is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork with some flared headers and has a tiled roof with end brick stacks. The gable copings are made of brick and include kneelers. The central bay on the ground floor has been rebuilt. The building has two storeys and a three-window range. The upper floor is fitted with two-light timber casements that have horizontal glazing bars. The outer ground floor bays also have similar casements, with the left bay featuring three lights. The central ground floor bay has a two-light casement with glazing bars set under a timber lintel. There are two plank doors on either side of the central bay. The building is included in the heritage register primarily for its group value.
