Description
No. 15 is a squatter's cottage located in Waterloo, dating from the late 18th century, with some minor later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish stretcher bond and features a plain tile roof with coped verges supported by carved stone kneelers. It has a two-cell plan and is one storey high with a gable-lit attic, which includes a dentilled eaves cornice. To the left of the segmental-headed boarded door, there are two mid-19th century fixed-light windows with segmental heads. An integral end stack is located to the right. This cottage is an unspoilt example of late 18th-century architecture.
