Description
The building is a detached stable located 40 metres southeast of Jerrards, dating from the early 18th century. It features rubble-stone walls with ashlar stone quoins and a thatch roof, which has stone gable-copings and ovolo-moulded kneelers. The stable is single-storey and has three flat mullion-and-transom windows, each with two lights and moulded stone cornices above. There are fixed iron windows with lead lights. The central doorway is framed by an eaved stone architrave and cornice, leading to a studded plank door with strap hinges. Additionally, there is a plank stable door on the north end wall and a plank loft door above.
