Description
The former church, built in 1839 and designed by J.T. Parkinson, is now used for industrial purposes. It features stone walls and slate roofs with moulded gable parapets. The building has a simple rectangular plan without a separate chancel. A porch is located at the south (liturgical "west") end, with a door in the west wall. Each side wall contains three "Gothic" windows with simple Y-tracery and shallow buttresses. A timber bell-cote sits over the south gable, although the bell has been removed. All internal fittings have been taken out. The churchyard contains various 19th-century headstones, and there is a stone boundary wall along the road.
