Description
Pegg's Farm Mill is a mill built around 1800. It features rough ashlar stone with the left two bays constructed in English bond brickwork. The roof is tiled with stone-slate margins and has a brick stack on the right side. The building is two storeys high with attics and has a range of five windows. The windows include casements and horizontally pivoting types, while the ground floor openings are topped with segmental brick heads. There are plain plank doors for both the ground floor and loft. It is noted that the mill is said to retain an overshot millwheel.
