Description
Farrington House is a house from the 17th century with a north wing added in the 18th century. The earlier sections are built from coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, while the 18th-century part is constructed in brick. The house has a thatched roof with brick stacks at each end. The north wing faces the road and features 2-light, square-headed stone mullioned windows with moulded labels. The south front, which is part of the 18th-century addition, has casement windows with leaded lights. On the north wall, there is a blocked door with a four-centred head and chamfered jambs. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams that are stop chamfered.
