Description
Church Farm House is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 17th century and has a 20th-century extension to the southeast. The building is constructed of ashlar, with a brick and flint end wall that is likely a recent reconstruction. The 20th-century extension is mainly weatherboarded and features a thatched roof with a brick stack on the left side.
The original 17th-century section consists of two bays, while the extension adds three more bays. On the ground floor, there are three and four-light ovolo-moulded stone mullioned windows with returned labels and leaded lights. Above these, there are two corresponding three-light windows. Each gable has a chamfered loop. The entrance door is located in the later extension.
Inside, notable features include a fireplace with a chamfered stone surround and a three-centred head, as well as exposed stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
