3/125 Three Monuments including John Hopkins in the churchyard 3-5 metres north of nave of Church of St Mary

Table Tombs. C17 and C18. Stone. 1) Westernmost. Plain sides and bulbous moulded end blocks. Hipped top block. "Here lies the body of John Hopkins .... died 1734". 2) Easternmost. Stone with moulded end blocks with angel-bust and rosetts. Each side has 2 semi-circular panels, with nail-head in the arches. Moulded cornice and flat top-block .... Dated 1694. 3) To north: Two semi-circular panels to each side, with nail-head in arches. Big rosettes on the end blocks. Capital letter inscription.
