Description
Dawe's Barton Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century. It features rubble-stone walls that are painted white and a thatched roof, which has a gable end on the left side and is hipped on the right side. The building is 1½ storeys high and has two windows, each with three lights and wooden casements that include glazing bars and wooden cills. The front doorway is centrally located and is sheltered by a weatherboarded 20th-century porch, which has a panelled door and a hipped thatch roof. There is an outshut at the right end of the house, topped with a clay-tile roof, and it has a 20th-century casement window with two lights.
