Description

Brekan Cottage, formerly known as Wyncote, is a late 18th or early 19th century cottage located in the Chalk area of Iwerne Minster. The cottage is constructed of Flemish-bond brickwork, with rendered surfaces, and has a 2-part tiled roof, the western section being a Mansard. Brick stacks are located at the ends of the building. It is two storeys high and has an irregular arrangement of four windows. The windows are 2-light casements; some have full glazing bars, some have horizontal glazing bars, and others have leaded lights. The building is included on the list principally for its group value.
