Description
Cow Parsley Cottage and Sparrow Cottage are two former cottages dating from the late 19th century, possibly designed by A Waterhouse. The buildings feature a combination of brick, timber, and rendered walls, topped with tiled roofs and brick chimneys. They are arranged in an H-plan with gabled cross-wings and present a symmetrical facade. The cottages are one and a half storeys high and have a four-window range. The windows are three-light casements, with some still showcasing patterned leaded lights. The ground floor openings are set under segmental arches, and the cross wings feature canted oriel windows on the upper floors. There are paired central plank doors leading onto a verandah situated between the cross-wings.
