Description

This detached coach house and stable, located 15 metres north-west of Raikes, dates from the early 19th century and was originally used as a carrier's premises. The building features rubble stone walls and a hipped corrugated-iron roof. It is a single storey with a loft above. The coach house has two-leaf plank doors on the left side at ground level, while the stable door, also made of plank, is on the right side and includes window-shutters and an iron grille. There is a plank loft door in the centre above. The structure is included for its historical interest.
