Description
The Coach House and Stables, located east of The Rookery, is an early 19th-century building that now serves as a garage and stables. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and features a slate and stone slate roof. The building has a stone gable end stack on the west side and is part single storey and part two storeys, comprising three bays. The west elevation includes a large segmental headed arch with double plank doors, and above this is a centrally placed fixed small pane window in a flush surround. There are also two flush hayloft openings on the north side. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
