Description
The stables immediately east of Herringston House are 18th century structures with 19th century alterations, arranged on two sides of a former yard. They feature rubble stone walls with dressed stone quoins and a slate roof with stone slate eaves. A rendered stack is located at the right ridge. The stables are single storey.
On the west range, there is a plank door and a two-light window, both with brick arches above. There is a passage with a brick arch over and another plank door inside, along with another two-light window. All windows are fitted with wood casements that have glazing bars.
The south elevation includes a three-light casement window, a stable door, and a three-light casement window in a double-gabled centrepiece. This area has two wide brick arches that were formerly part of coach houses but have since been blocked, with two stable doors inserted. To the right, there is a three-light window, a stable door, and a fixed window.
