5/114 Stables immediately east of Herringston House

GV II

Stables on two sides of a former yard. C18 with C19 alterations. Rubble stone walls and dressed stone quoins. Slate roof with stone slate eaves. Rendered stack at right ridge. Single storey ranges. West range: plank door, 2 light window both with brick arches over, through passage with brick arch over and plank door inside, 2 light window. All windows have wood casements with glazing bars. South elevation; 3 light casement, stable door, 3 light casement double gabled centre piece with 2 wide brick arches formerly to coach houses, later blocked and with 2 stable doors inserted. Right of this, 3 light window, stable door fixed window.
