Description
No. 18 Maiden Castle Road is a building constructed in 1937, designed by architect C. W. Pike. It is made of stucco and has two storeys with a parapet at the roof. The front features two ranges of iron casement windows. The entrance is located in a recessed polygonal bay, which has a half-glazed door equipped with a contemporary door handle and bell-push. Above the door, there is a window leading to a balcony that extends the bay and creates a porch supported by two brick piers. The ends of the building are canted and also feature a range of similar iron casements. The rear of the building is pointed in plan and includes various iron casements and a door similar to the one at the front.
