Description

Appian House is a two-storey building dating from the early 19th century, featuring a three-window stucco front. The front has an inserted shop front with a wooden canopy above. The rear of the house, which faces Bowling Alley Walk, is more attractive than the front. It also has two storeys and three windows, with a central round-headed doorway that includes a fanlight. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, and it has wide eaves.
