Description
The Bonded Warehouse and former Bottling Stores of Messrs Eldridge Pope's Brewery, built around 1880, is located on Weymouth Avenue. This two-storey building features a hipped slate roof and is constructed from brown, yellow, red, and blue brick. It has a moulded ashlar eaves cornice above red brick machicolations and a parapet. The façade includes nine ranges of industrial windows that are round arched with iron glazing bars and ashlar keystones. There is a recessed loading bay with a semi-circular relieving arch above it, which has a tympanum filled with patterned brown and yellow brick and a shield bearing the EP monogram.
