Description
Came Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century. It features squared rubble and dressed stone walls, topped by a hipped clay tile roof with stone slates at the eaves. A stone stack is located at the center ridge over the spine wall. The building is two storeys high with attics and has three widely spaced sash windows that include thin glazing bars. There is blocking in Broadmayne brick beside the top left window. The front door, positioned to the right of center, is an early 19th-century design with a recessed panel and flush panels, and it is accompanied by an iron trelliswork porch. Some later French windows can be found on other elevations. Most of the internal fittings have been renewed.
