Description
Came Lodge is a lodge located at the entrance to Came Park, dating from the early 19th century. It features dressed stone walls and hipped slate roofs, with a polygonal hipped roof over the front bay. There are rendered stacks at the center of the ridge. The building is single-storey and has a three-sided central bay window facing the lane. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, stone architraves, keystones, and stone cills. To the right of the bay is the front door, which has a round-headed architrave and a dropped key. The door itself is a round-headed flush panel door from the 19th century. On the left side of the bay, there is a small verandah with a pentice roof, supported by undressed posts, and it includes a rustic wooden bench.
