Description
46 Cecily Hill is a lodge to Cirencester Park, built in the early 19th century. It features coursed squared limestone and a stone slate roof. The building has two pairs of diagonally placed ashlar flues with moulded tops at the right end of the front and rear ranges, along with three similar flues on the rear wing to the left. Designed in a revived Cotswold vernacular style, it has one large and one small gable at the front. The structure is single-storey with an attic and has a two-window range. On the ground floor, there are two three-light chamfered stone-mullion windows with leaded lights, and above, one similar three-light window and one similar two-light window in the gables. The central plank door has three panels formed by applied moulding and is set in a chamfered stone surround. The left return facade facing the park is similar, featuring a door with a Tudor-arched head in a chamfered stone surround. The interior has not been inspected.
