Description

The remains of St German's Church date from the 18th century, incorporating materials from the 14th and 15th centuries. The structure is built from coursed and random rubble stone, featuring some flints and dressed stone quoins. Currently, only the east gable wall remains standing. The east window originally had two lights with ogee trefoiled heads, although the central mullion is missing. There is a segmental pointed rear arch, of which only one block remains in place on the north side. The site is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, Dorset 401.
