Description

Wareham Bridge, built around 1847, is constructed of hammer-dressed stone. The abutments feature vitreous brick strings. It has a single flat span and is adorned with ornamental cast iron parapets, which are concealed by taller corrugated iron ones on the inside. The bridge is listed for its distinctive parapets.
