Description

No. 39, including the adjacent barn, is a long house dating from the 18th to early 19th century. The house is constructed of hammer-dressed stone, while the barn is made of rubble with brick dressings. Both structures feature a pitched slate roof, with two brick stacks—one contemporary with the house and the other dating from the mid 19th century. The house has three ranges of segment-headed casements that include glazing bars. The barn was extended to the south in the mid 19th century, using hammer-dressed stone.
