Description
No. 3 School Street is a small house from the early 19th century, located in a row of similar buildings. It features painted Flemish bond brickwork and a slate roof. The house has two storeys and an attic, with two windows on the front. There is an original six-pane sash window in a raking dormer above a 12-pane window in a moulded box, and an 8:12:8-pane window at the first floor. On the ground floor, there is an opening to the left that leads to a throughway under the premises, a six-panel door set in a brick arch with a radial fanlight above it, and a replacement tripartite sash window. The building has a small plinth, and no chimney stack is visible. Inside the passageway, there is another entrance door. The rear of the house has been extended. The interior has not been inspected.
