Description

Gates and gate piers at the north east end of Abbey Close date from 1625. The gate piers are made of ashlar and feature a plinth and moulded capping, topped with ball finials. The gates are crafted from handsome wrought iron. These structures are part of a group with the east end of No 1 Finger Lane.
