Description

Rose Cottage and Twin Firs are a pair of semi-detached estate cottages built in the mid-19th century. They feature brick walls and slate roofs, with a central brick stack that has an oversailing cap and dentil ornament. The cottages are two storeys tall, and each has a gabled porch adorned with dentil ornament at the verge. The part-glazed door is set under a four-centred arch. On the ground floor, each cottage has one casement window with glazing bars, which is positioned under a hoodmould. The first floors each have three casement windows with glazing bars, set beneath gauged arches. The cottages remain largely unaltered.
