Description

Nutmeg Cottage is a house that dates back to the 17th century and was likely refaced in the 18th century. It features colourwashed brick in a Flemish bond pattern and has a half-hipped thatched roof with brick stacks at the right gable and to the left of the door. The cottage is one and a half storeys tall and has four windows. The windows are three-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars, and the ground floor openings are set under segmental brick arches. There is a plain plank door located beneath a thatched porch. Inside, the cottage has stop-chamfered beams.
