Description

Acre Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with 18th century cladding. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The front, facing south-west, has two storeys and three windows. The roof is hipped, with a catslide at the rear. The walls are built in Flemish bond with blue headers, and the ground floor openings are cambered. The gables display exposed timber framing. The windows are casements. There is a 20th century tiled brick porch and a garage attached at the north-west end, both with thatched roofs.
