Description

West Aston and Aston Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of brick and thatch, featuring a symmetrical front that is one storey high with an attic and four windows. The cottages have a half-hipped roof, which includes eyebrow dormers that have cills at the eaves level. The walls are built in Flemish bond with blue headers, although Aston Cottage has been painted. The ground floor openings are cambered, and the windows are casements. The doorways are plain, each with a half-glazed door.
