Description

Keeper's Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with some minor additions from the 18th century and early 20th century. It is a timber-framed building topped with a thatched roof and has two storeys with irregular window arrangements. The north-east end features a hipped roof that slopes down to low eaves above a boarded outshot, while the south-west end has a half-hipped roof with a separate roof above a 20th-century boarded outshot that serves as a garage. The upper part of the frame is exposed with rendered infill, while the lower walls are made of painted brickwork. The windows are casements. There is a projecting central brick outshot with a tiled roof, which includes an open porch and entrance.
