Description

Fippenny Cottage is a house dated 1762, though it likely has origins in the 17th century. The exterior is rendered, with some exposed timber framing, and it features a thatched roof with brick stacks at either end. The building has two storeys and an irregular arrangement of windows. The windows include two- and three-light casements, with some having full and others horizontal glazing bars. Some openings have segmental heads. There is a part-glazed door under a pantiled hood located to the extreme right, which serves as the lobby entrance. The original house is partly incorporated into Rosemary Cottage.
