Description

Pleydells Cottage is a former barn dating from the 18th century, located on Higher Street in Okeford Fitzpaine. The building is constructed of flint, brick, and cob, with part of it rendered. The brick front facing the road is laid in Flemish bond with flared headers. It features a half-hipped thatched roof and has a double wooden loft door on the road side. The left facade includes a stable door and two plain wooden framed windows.
