Description
Nos 27 and 29 on East Street are two-storey buildings with red brick fronts, dating from before 1731. The front of No 27 is painted, and both buildings feature a coved eaves cornice and dormers. There are four windows in total, with sash windows on the first floor, although the windows of No 29 have been altered. The shop front of No 29 is from the early 19th century and includes fluted pilasters and a dentil cornice. There is a yard entrance through No 29 to the left. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 21 to 43 (odd), No 43A, and outbuildings.
