Description

26 East Street is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with an attic. It features four windows, one of which is blocked. The brickwork is typical for the period, complemented by a coved eaves cornice and a brick string course. There are two flat dormers and sash windows throughout. The stone plinth adds to the building's character, while the doorway is distinguished by a moulded architrave and a hood. Notably, the west end of the front has been altered to integrate with the East Street Gospel Hall. This property, along with Nos 12 to 26, forms a cohesive group.
