Description

14 and 16 East Street are 18th century buildings, possibly from the early part of the century, with some alterations. No 14 has two storeys and No 16 has an additional attic storey, with separate ridge lines. The front of No 14 features one window and is finished in stucco, while No 16 has three windows and also has a stucco front. No 16 includes two hipped dormers. The first floor of both buildings has sash windows that do not have glazing bars. Both properties have large modern shop fronts with contemporary fascias. Nos 12 to 26 (even) are part of the same group.
