Description

The stable block to Battlecombe, built in the early 19th century, is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a hipped slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and includes voussoirs of a blocked depressed arch. The building has one sash window with a winch hoist above it, along with a partly glazed, planked landing door. Other openings have been modernized. The north elevation displays various sash windows with glazing bars, including two with semi-circular arches and marginal glazing bars, as well as one stable door.
